What is YWAM DTS?

How long is the DTS program?

The DTS program usually lasts around 5 to 6 months. The first 3 months are dedicated to classroom teaching, followed by 2 to 3 months of outreach.

How much does DTS cost?

The cost of DTS BKK is 120,000 Thai Baht for Thai Nationals and 170,000 Thai Baht for foreigners. The cost includes plane tickets to and from outreach locations, food, housing, and transportation required by the DTS schedule for the duration of the school. It DOES NOT include plane tickets to and from Thailand, visas, and extracurricular food or activities.

Do I need to have prior experience in missions or ministry?

No prior experience is required to join a DTS. The program is designed to equip and prepare you for mission work, regardless of your background.

Is DTS only for young people?

While "Youth" is part of the name, DTS is open to individuals of all ages. Many participants in DTS are adults looking to deepen their faith and explore missions.

Will I receive a certificate after completing DTS?

Yes, upon successful completion of the program, you will receive a certificate of completion which acknowledges your participation in and commitment to the DTS program that is certified with the University of the Nations.
